Now that Fall has officially arrived, it’s nearing that time of year again when people will get dressed up on ‘All Hallows Eve’ to celebrate the darker half of the year. Kids will be trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o-lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted houses, committing pranks, telling ghost stories and watching horror films. What else could be better?
Let’s take this a step further, when does it get to the point that a doctor should just say no? In the attached photographs and video you will see people who have had surgery to make themselves look like exotic animals. No, I am not kidding! What bothers me is not that these people somehow came to the conclusion that deep inside they felt more animal than human, but that some doctor said yes to these surgeries. We live in a great country that allows personal freedom to be whomever we wish to be. American’s are given the freedom to worship as we please, protest at will, speak our minds and so on. When, do we as a society step up to the plate and question the sanity of those amongst us and the money hungry doctors that would concede to such procedures.
In Western Europe and in England, Roman customs were added to the Druid observances, and have perpetuated to this day. In England and elsewhere the witches still gather on the eve of All Saints Day, All Hallow’s Eve, and stir their cauldrons of brew while chanting spirits.
What’s Man acting as Man? Look around you. Do you think the man who senselessly bombed Iraq really thought “God was his General”? Or did he just ignore God’s urge Not to kill thousands for his own greed? That’s something that really could have changed the world, but man can run his fingers through riches – it’s much harder to give oneself to God. I like to think that someday in heaven (or wherever) we will meet those that we’ve hurt, our brothers and sister now undressed and plainly soul, and we’ll have to explain why we hurt them. Forget about God’s judgment – would you hurt a person on earth who you had to face directly and explain yourself? Imagine killing thousands in a single second – all brothers and sisters.

There will be AvX-themed artwork available for sale. Drinks will be provided as well for those 21 years of age or older. This event is all ages and runs from 7 p.m. to midnight. Delivery: Do they provide free delivery? Check this out carefully because in some cases “free” shipping and delivery is not free. A reduction might be removed from your payment for significantly more than the real shipping and delivery expense.
Halloween is an evening when adults and children participate together, costumes are admired, treats are given and received. Everyone mingles and visits each others homes. There is a feeling of belonging to a community.
The last stop is Dunkin Donuts. I find a mug for dad, I find some hazelnut decaf for mom, and grab a handful of gift cards for $5.00 a pop because in my family, everybody likes donuts. There. I’m done. I’m excited and I know the recipients will be too. My budget is 25.00 or less per stocking and I nailed it. I hope these gift idea’s help you do the same.
